Abstract
The paper deals with the investigation of the shielding effectiveness of the electromagnetic field by means of experimentally created shielding magnetic fluids. It is focused on the frequency range 0.8-9 GHz. Mixtures of additive shielding coatings are applied on the MDF board, measurements of shielding effectiveness and reflection are performed in anechoic chamber. Subsequently, the attenuation of the material is calculated from the obtained data. The obtained results will provide an overview of the possibilities of using newly created coatings for the purposes of shielding the electromagnetic fields.
