Abstract
Electric Vehicle (EVs) is rapidly replacing combustion engine vehicles. It is inevitable to develop Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure. It is certain that we are looking for smart grid architecture for the future. However, it is impossible to do immediate changes in the present grid. Electric vehicles are not just served for transport but also for the energy storage system. The present grid is designed to serve a load that we have been utilizing for quite a long time and according to that energy-carrying capacity is also in that order. So, if we have to charge an electric vehicle in the present grid then a proper management system is mandatory. In this paper, we are presenting the smart management system for the Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure for the individual home in residential streets. It is presented with the algorithm and case study. In this way, it is possible to maintain electrical stability in the residential grid during the charging and discharging of EVs.
