Abstract
We study the problem of optimal selection of parameters of a grid with distributed energy sources. Energy consumption fluctuations together with solar generation variability in such grids have a significant impact on the voltage profile compared to traditional grids. We use probabilistic methods to describe node voltage fluctuations and apply a well-known mathematical apparatus to analyze them. In this work, we investigate the problem of maximizing the probabilities of voltages being in the interval of acceptable values for various network parameters.
