Abstract
This paper describes the measurement campaign which is based on evaluation of 140 power quality measurements made in 70 different low voltage distribution grids with connected renewable energy sources (photovoltaic plants). The evaluation of these measurements focuses on parameters of power quality according to the EN 50 160 standard (voltage variations, flicker, harmonics) and power flows. Measured group of micro sources has a connection to the distribution grid in so-called simplified mode when power sources connected in this mode should not produce active power in the delivery point according to the grid code. The methodology for new grid connections of this type of power sources is proposed when this new methodology takes into consideration real operation conditions.
