Abstract
The article deals with the issue of large rounding angles in the power system of Slovak Republic. PMUs are installed in the transmission system, with which we can monitor differences in voltage angles when switching transmission lines. Although there are no shifts in standard operation that would cause rounding problems, this can happen in the event of major outages. This case is documented on a real outage in substation Veľké Kapušany
